Turfcats Clinch Second Place and a Home Playoff Game

PLAYOFF DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED--GAME WILL BE HELD JULY 18
AUSTIN, Texas - With the Austin Turfcats' (7-2) 50-40 Monday night win over the Acadiana Mudbugs (5-4), the Turfcats have clinched second place in the Southern Indoor Football League and are scheduled to host a first round playoff game.
The playoff game will be held at adfirmative.com Field at the Travis County Expo Center on July 18 at 6:30 p.m. The third place team will travel to Austin for the game while the Louisiana Swashbucklers (9-1) will host the fourth place team. Tickets for the game will go on sale July 13 with prices still to be determined but promised to be reasonable.
