Turfcats' First 2010 Combine A Success

AUSTIN, Texas - The Austin Turfcats' first free agent combine of the 2010 season was a great success.
28 prospective players made their way to Kelly Lane Middle School on Saturday morning, along with several veterans from the 2009 team. The combine was led by Turfcats Head Coach Chris Duliban and his coaching staff. Following a period of group stretching and warmup, participants joined in two hours of assessment trials and one-on-one drills.
Over the next few days, the Turfcats coaching staff will review notes and video from the event and determine which prospective players will be invited back to future tryouts. All participants will receive constructive feedback from the coaches, and are welcome to attend future combines to see if they are able to improve their skills.
The Turfcats will hold three additional combines throughout Central Texas over the next few months. Details will be released on www.turfcats.com as soon as they are confirmed.
